DRIVING: From the centre of Dikwella, at the bus station, drive 590 metres east and then turn right onto Pehembiya Road. This road runs towards the east end of Dikwella beach, over the top of the Dikwella/Hiriketiya headland and down to Hiriketiya Bay. Follow Pehembiya Road for 840 metres to the top of the hill. On the right is the entrance to The Saffron House, a pair of large teak gates.
