Booking and Rates
We mostly rent the Saffron House to a single party as a private villa. However, we do open up individual rooms 3-4 weeks in advance when there are no bookings (min 2 night stay). Use the search below to find individual rooms.
Our rates include taxes but exclude staff tip. We recommend a 10-15% tip for the staff. In addition, we charge all food and drinks at cost price, so very good value and completely flexible.
We also charge USD 30/night for every extra person over eight guests. We have kids beds, baby cots and a cool tree tent for the adventurous.

Terms of Booking
Exclusive use of the villa with completely flexible meal arrangements, charged at the cost of ingredients.
Check in / out
Check in: 2:30pm; Check-out: 10.30am.
We will do all we can to accommodate early arrivals or late check-outs, depending on the guests staying before or after your stay.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations notified more then 45 days in advance will receive a refund of 50% of the booking total. Cancellations notified between 30 and 45 days will receive a refund of 25%. Cancellations notified within 30 days will usually not receive a refund.
Payment method
We accept credit cards or bank transfers. To enable online credit card payments, your payment will be processed by our UK company, Rocket Woman Ltd, which acts as an agent for Pehembiya Lands Pvt. Ltd. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer into a Sri Lankan or UK bank account, please get in touch directly via email or by using the form above.
